All about Mrs. Sanders
Hello, my name is Tammy Sanders. I am a kindergarten teacher at Auburn Elementary School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Emporia State University in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood. I also received my Master's Degree, in Curriculum and Instruction from ESU. This is my 18th year of teaching. I have taught First Grade, Title One Reading and Kindergarten. My heart lies with Kindergarten.
This is one of my dogs. Maddie is my other baby. She is a cori mix. She loves to have her tummy rubbed.
Above, on the left is one of my cats. Her name is Penny. I found her on the playground many years ago. I have 6 cats all together. (Hershey, Penny, Taffy, Toffee, Belatrix and Luna).
That beautiful girl in the middle is my daughter Sydney. She is 10 years old and is in the 5th grade this year. Wow, how time flies. The last picture is my husband, Scott, Sydney, Maddie, Winnie and me. Winnie is a tri-colored corgi. Scott and I have been married for 16 years but together 24 years.
When I'm not at school, I love being with my family, traveling, scrapbooking or playing around in my garden. I have one younger brother. Matt lives in Kansas City with his wife Anya and their son, Lex. Lex will be two at the end of August. My parents live 3 miles away from Auburn. My mother -in -law lives about 10 minutes away so Sydney gets to see her grandparents a lot.
Some of the places we have traveled with our family are Barbados, Russia, Florida and Hawaii. We are looking forward to a Hogwarts vacation in November, 2011.
